Newt Gingrich, born June 17, 1943, is a Major 3 Minor 2, and now in his Resolutions of 5:4. According to his Essential year (the personal development cycle of TO8 Days), he moved into his resolutions around 1990, which is an interesting date for students of the TO8. That was the time Mr Gingrich began to think of an extra-marital affair with the woman who became his third wife, later demanding an open marriage from his second wife without success. His Resolutions are 5:4 where his internal conflict changes from one causing erratic category mistakes in his personal expression to one causing erotic tensions in his community duties. In these Resolutions, he is no doubt concerned with his standing in society even as he qualifies his acceptance of it with wild abstractions and intellectual complexities. He has good interesting ideas and is likely to be right about almost all his prognostications, although his inability to ignore what other decision-makers think will hamper his ability to form policy out of those ideas and make them happen. He is, in fact, too easily seduced by ideas for him to work simply and cleanly on policy. He will need 'yes-people' around him if he wants to get anything done at all, but these will have to suffer his doubts, imprecisions and revisions expressed at random and which interfere with his attractiveness as a leader.
