Charles Dickens

Charles Dickens, b. February 7 1812 at 19:50 apparently in the evening.  On that day the cusp between TO8 Days 59 and 60 occurs a little after midday, so his evening birth puts him into TO8 Day 60 giving him a Major 8 and a Minor 4. 8 - 4 is the axis of mind on the move: from the burgeoning of clear isolated ideas to the complex interrelations underlying phenomenon. Loving heart, disdainful soul, Dickens was determined to keep his thoughts pure, while at the same time expressing them in their fullest descriptions.  He antagonised the Landscape on all fronts, warm on the surface, cool underneath, rigorous but inventive, enjoying the discomfort that his work brings, over enveloping the target with his observations that he still hits directly and cleanly. What he would give to have every criticism upheld while such a need is swept away time and again by a soul that fears a loss of self.  He loves the audience warmth while he is in full flight but condemns them afterwards for not being what he wants them to be. He resolved to 2:6, the axis of resources, gathering everything and everyone to the cause of putting his views into common usage and taking the others out. Ally to all that begins, or is born, scourge of the habits of social position, happy with riches, generous as long as there is no duty to it. Unified within himself, but a mystery to outsiders.
